Laying Block Paving

After an initial free consultation and quote we will guide you in your choice of pavior and pattern and agree a timescale and start date to commence your block paving project.

The existing surface is then removed and the ground is prepared to a sufficient depth of 6 inches (152.4 millimetre).

We then lay 3 inches (76.2 millimetre) MOT (Ministry of Transport) hardcore compacted.

Next comes a layer of screeding sand zone 3 compacted to sufficient levels on to which the pavior are layed in the desired pattern. Kiln sand is then brushed over the joints and finally the pavior are compacted.
